Online Course Curriculum: Generative AI & Learning Design in Practice for teachers
Course Description:
This course will introduce participants to the basics of generative AI and explore its potential for use in teaching. Participants will learn about the different types of generative AI models, how to use them to create educational content, and how to incorporate them into their teaching practice. Since, in contrast to those who believe that Artificial Intelligence eventually will replace teachers, this course is written because we believe that teachers who use AI will replace teachers who don’t. Though teachers who use AI can minimise their administrative workload with up to 50% with capability that GenAI has today and even more in the future while the technology improves further.
Learning is an art, and designing effective learning experiences requires a purposeful approach. This course also serves as your practical guide to mastering the art of learning design, empowering you to create impactful and engaging eLearning experiences. We will delve into the latest trends, explore essential tools, and implement the 6i-model framework, culminating in a vision for your future as a learning designer. In other words, putting the latest technology in practice with special focus on generative AI, to improve learning, and simplify and empower teachers work.
